Hey everyone! I want to take a moment to chat about the Galaxsi Circus and address any questions you might have. I know I haven’t been streaming as much lately, and I’ve had to cancel streams here and there due to burnout and balancing my 9-5 job. I completely understand if some of you are worried about how this might affect my mental health when it comes to streaming. So, let me share what’s been on my mind!
The Galaxsi Circus is something I’ve been excited about for a while now—since August, to be exact. I’ve always been fascinated by subathons. They’re just so engaging! I remember tuning in daily to JaidenAnimations’ subathon, watching her play games and seeing the chat tackle Pokémon Emerald while she took a nap. There have been some amazing subathons out there, like those by PointCrow and Ludwig, and I’ve always wanted to try something similar. This event is my chance to experiment with that concept—not just to keep you all entertained, but to create some great content.
Another big reason for this event is to bring our two communities together. I’ve always viewed my channels as separate entities, but I want to create a shared space where we can all connect. My goal is to unify the content from both channels under the Mat Galaxsi streaming umbrella while still distributing videos to their respective places on YouTube. As I mentioned in my initial announcement, all streams will happen on the Mat Galaxsi Twitch channel, and there won’t be any live broadcasts to YouTube during this event. However, I will be posting videos and shorts on both Galaxsi Footy and Mat Galaxsi afterward.
I’m also using this opportunity to solidify my content structure. I’ve been experimenting with different styles, and I think I’m starting to find a flow that works for me. By the end of this event, I want to have a clear plan for how streams can turn into videos and how everything can be connected in a cohesive way.
If all goes well, this could become the blueprint for my content moving forward, and I plan to document everything for the start of 2025. Thanks for being here and supporting me through this journey. I can’t wait to see where it takes us!
