So today, I wanted to take some time to explain what my creative process that I mentioned in said video is all about. I’ve been aiming for this blog to be a more reflective kind of thing as well as a “more detail” place to explain why I have made the decisions I have.
Before we dive into the details, let’s rewind a bit and address an initial problem I faced:
Initially, I found myself focusing solely on one channel all the time. While the Footy season for the Rugby league demanded constant attention, my NRL channel, Galaxsi Footy, was thriving, but the gaming channel, MatGalaxsi, was being left in the dust. Recognizing this issue during my review, I knew it needed to be resolved.
Now, let’s get back to the exciting updates and the creative process that’s shaping the future of my YouTube channels.
The Creative Process Unveiled
Starting from October 9th, 2023, I’m implementing a new creative focus approach that allows me to dedicate two full weeks to each of my YouTube channels: Galaxsi Footy and MatGalaxsi. This approach not only streamlines my content creation process but also ensures that I’m bringing you the best content possible.
Let’s delve deeper into how this creative process unfolds:
Focused Filming and Increased Efficiency
The first week of this creative process will be all about Galaxsi Footy. Based on my recent observations, I’ve realized that I can efficiently produce a significant portion of content within the first few days of the week. This newfound efficiency means that by Wednesday or Thursday night, I’ve already created three videos for Galaxsi Footy, leaving me with more time for content preparation and self-improvement.
This streamlined approach not only benefits me but also ensures that you, the viewers, get more consistent and higher-quality content from Galaxsi Footy.
Strategic Planning and Secretive Hints
In the week between filming and editing, I’ll be diving into strategic planning. This involves analyzing trends, researching upcoming events in the world of Rugby league, and brainstorming creative and engaging video ideas. This strategic phase is crucial to ensure that I’m ahead of the curve and delivering content that aligns with your interests.
Now, here’s a little secret I can’t resist sharing: my 2024 content plan for Galaxsi Footy. While I can’t reveal all the details just yet, I can assure you that it’s going to be exciting, and you won’t want to miss it! Keep an eye out for our New Year’s update where I’ll unveil more about what’s in store.
Balancing Real-Time Events
One challenge I’ve faced as a content creator is balancing real-time events with content creation. During the NRL off-season, I won’t need to worry about covering real-time events unless something major unexpectedly occurs. This ensures that my content creation process can remain uninterrupted.
However, when the season is in full swing, things can get quite dynamic. I’ll stay agile and prepared to address any significant developments promptly. While this can be challenging, it’s also what keeps the content fresh and relevant.
Goals and Commitment
Now, let’s talk about my goals and commitment. My primary goal for the rest of this year is to continue growing my subscriber count and increasing engagement with my audience. I’ve already made significant strides in improving the quality of my content, and I’m committed to maintaining that standard.
Quality is of utmost importance to me, and I believe that engaging content is the key to fostering a strong and supportive community. I appreciate each and every one of you who has been a part of this journey so far.
Self-Improvement and Analytics
Weekends are my time for content preparation, research, and development. It’s not just about creating more content; it’s about enhancing the content you already love. I’m optimistic about exploring more collaboration opportunities in the future. It’s a way to connect with fellow content creators and provide you with diverse and engaging content that you’ll enjoy.

In the long term, my goal is to strike a balance that allows me to provide engaging content to both channels. I understand the importance of both Galaxsi Footy and MatGalaxsi to my audience, and I want to ensure that both channels receive the attention they deserve.
