Heyo and welcome back, dear followers! It’s time for a little catch-up. Personally, things have been on the upswing. I’m feeling less stressed, healthier, and I’ve been taking on some exciting new challenges. Learning to drive, mastering the art of cooking, and making strides in my career as a software developer have kept me busy. But that’s not all—there’s more! I’ve been dabbling in the world of photography and learning how to use a camera. It’s still early days, but I’m definitely improving.
On a more emotional note, I recently had the incredible privilege of witnessing my best friends tie the knot, and believe it or not, I shed tears of pure joy. Life is a series of wonderful surprises, isn’t it? And speaking of surprises, I’m eager to share that I’m not done learning new things. The journey continues!
Content Halt
Now, let’s talk about what’s happening with our content. Starting from October 2nd, there will be a temporary pause on video releases across all my channels. But fear not, this hiatus is for all the right reasons. Lately, I’ve been giving priority to the Galaxsi Footy channel due to the ongoing NRL season. With the NRL season concluding on October 1st, this break presents a golden opportunity to step back and assess both channels to see how I can elevate the content.
During this breather, I’ll be rolling up my sleeves and diving into the nitty-gritty, refactoring and restructuring my workflow to ensure that both Galaxsi Footy and MatGalaxsi receive the quality content they deserve.
Galaxsi Footy
First and foremost, a massive thank you is in order! This year, Galaxsi Footy soared to 700 subscribers, an astounding achievement considering we started the year with just under 300. Together, we’ve also racked up over 100,000 views—mind-blowing!
For all the fans eagerly waiting for the next installment of our “Broncos Career Mode,” mark your calendars for October 16th, 2023. Season 2 is right around the corner, featuring exciting new players like Jack Cogger, Dylan Brown, and Harry Grant. But that’s not all. We’re introducing a fresh series, a spiritual successor to “Rebuild the Ambush.” This series will be exclusive to the off-season, with Season 1 wrapping up before the start of the 2024 season and Season 2 kicking off after that. The first episode of the new series will premiere on Wednesday, November 1st, and there will be opportunities for you, our viewers, to get involved. We’re planning to film content in bulk to allow more time for our gaming channel.
MatGalaxsi
Let’s address the elephant in the room—MatGalaxsi. I know the channel has been somewhat neglected, and I take full responsibility for that. When I took on the challenge of managing two channels, I was perhaps a bit naïve and unprepared. However, after this content hiatus, I’m determined to revitalize MatGalaxsi and provide you with engaging content.
On a personal gaming note, I’ve felt like I’ve fallen behind, and that’s something I’m keen to change. The upcoming release of Spider-Man 2 and the Pokémon DLC has me excited. I also have some game suggestions from you, my wonderful community, which I’m eager to explore.
Earlier this year, I made the switch to YouTube for streaming. While it had its benefits, I felt that the unique vibe of my channel was somewhat lost in the transition. As a result, I’ve decided to return to Twitch for streaming, and I’m thrilled to announce the return of Galaxsi Bot to the chat. Don’t worry, YouTube streams will continue, just not as frequently as initially planned.
