Update for Matgalaxsi – April 2022

Hey all,

I wanted to provide a small update in relation to the community which include streaming content going forward, the Minecraft Server, what I am currently working with Galaxsi Bot and a couple of projects that are in the planning phase.

Minecraft Server

I have made the tough decision to shutdown the Minecraft server. I will still be keeping the world backed up if it does come back up again though so the progress we have made will not be lost. The reason I have made this choice is there isn’t a big interest in Minecraft anymore in the community and we haven’t touched it a lot since the beginning of the year. It is currently costing me money that is never utilized so I will be pulling it down. If the need arises for a Minecraft Server, I will still be open to the idea of reopening it on a new server, in fact, I would even like to experiment eventually with running my own server to run it and might even make some time to work on project in relation to that Minecraft Server. I want to give a big thank you to my Head Administrator SquirrelFridge and all the other Minecraft users that did log in during the servers lifespan and I look forward to a day where we will reopen that server and play some more Minecraft together… (Maybe a bit better planned hahaha). I am planning to do something with Minecraft Single Player later this year so look forward to more Minecraft Solo Content.

Galaxsi Bot – Website

I have begun work on the new Website that will be galaxsibot.com (https://galaxsibot.com) and I plan to have some drafted ideas up soon! I will be basically rebuilding what I currently have in a new framework that I have been starting to use in my day to day (Angular, 10 points if u know what that is!). It will be a bit of time until the website is updated and it will even be broken away from the Galaxsi Bot service that I have setup (I just run galaxsibot.com and galaxsi bot code base on the same service and that is not ideal). I plan to have a “testing” phase at somepoint so users can check out the new version of the website.

This time, I am open to ideas for the website, I am wanting to know what you would use it for? I am planning to add a help page which gives a live list of the commands that Galaxsi Bot can use but also a deeper understanding of what the token race is. In addition, I may also add the record lookup to there as well so that way, I can make an easy to navigate interface unlike the excel spreadsheet we keep on google drive.

I will be also making some new pages as time goes on but I will be keeping those a secret for now… except for 1.

Galaxsi Bot – Game #02

I have finally planned out the new game that Galaxsi Bot is going to have which has a somewhat return to !mine command but lets just say that, is only 1 single part of the new game. This game is going to be a lot bigger and a bit more original. All I can say is, Crew members who love their RPGs are going to get a kick out of this. The website will also have some handy guides for this game as well and even will have some fun things for you to check out! I will be beginning work on this after next week and I look forward to sharing more about it in the coming months!

New Youtube Video Ideas in the works

I’ve been wanting to work on my Youtube content for a while as well and I wanted to start experimenting with some YouTube recording. I will be working on a more unique (but other youtubers have done it) video and I would like to see how that goes. I will also be working on the Master Duel opening video soon and I am hoping to have it up next week. Not only that but I am currently planning a new series that will run for about 6 months starting from June that will not be restricted to just Youtube but other platforms. My aim for this series is to promote some of the VIPs within the community but also other well known community members. It will be focused on the various of fandoms that our community enjoys! I can’t wait to share these ideas with you in the future!
